Labcyte Receives Scientists’ Choice Award for Customer Video
FRIDAY, MARCH 11, 2016

We were proud to learn that our video interview with Dr Allan Jordan, Head of Chemistry, Drug Discovery Unit, Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute was selected by SelectScience as the Most Successful Video of 2015!

You can see the video here: Acoustic Liquid Handling Accelerating Drug Discovery at Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute.

In the short video, Dr. Jordan describes how acoustic liquid dispensing using the Labcyte Echo® 550 is helping to accelerate compound screening at the Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute. Specifically, he details how the Labcyte technology reduces the volume of compound needed for each experiment, thus enabling compounds to last longer and more data to be produced. The Institute hopes to use acoustic dispensing to help develop compounds that can be used as a start-point to design new targeted therapies for use in a personalized medicine setting.

A big thank you to Dr. Jordan for participating in this interview. If you are a Labcyte customer and would be interested in being featured in a future customer profile, please contact us at info-us@labcyte.com.
