Specifications for the POD automation platform.

The MicroClime  Environmental Lid minimizes edge effects and preserves the concentrations of solutions in microplate wells. Unlike standard microplate lids, the MicroClime lid incorporates a unique, fluid-absorbing matrix.
The absorbed fluid creates a vapor barrier that protects the sample from the exterior environment, especially near the edges of the microplate. The MicroClime lid is easy to use—simply place it on or lift it off a microplate.
No specialized tools are required, and it is compatible with robotic plate lidding and delidding systems. The lid may be filled with many different fluids, using either a hand-held pipette or automated bulk fillers.

Microplates developed by Labcyte meet tight specifications for flatness and rigidity.  Tissueculture treated plates have been confirmed to work with both adherent and suspension cell lines.  The tissue-culture treated, 1536-well, low
dead volume (1536LDV-TC) flat-bottomed microplate is composed of cyclic olefin copolymer and meets ANSI/SBS standards 1-2004, 3-2004, and 4-2004 for microplate dimensions. Lids not included. For research use only.

The 1536-Well Low Dead Volume (LDV) plate improves assay results through increased signal to noise ratios. The exceptional flatness of this microplate reduces assay noise by providing a consistent measurement position
for detection instrumentation using photomultiplier tubes or CCD devices.  This microplate is constructed of Cyclic Olefin Copolymer (COC) which provides optical clarity and improved signal levels for luminescence
and fluorescence based assays.   Each lot of plates is tested and certified to meet stringent performance specifications to ensure lot to lot consistency.  Additional benefits of the 1536-Well LDV plate include:
compatibility with heat sealing devices, designed for barcode customization and optimized for robotic handling.

Echo qualified source microplates are required to ensure accurate and precise transfer with the Echo® liquid handler. The 384-well, polypropylene (384PP) flat-bottomed microplate meets ANSI/SBS
standards 1-2004, 3-2004, and 4-2004 for microplate dimensions. For research use only.

The 384-Well Low Dead Volume (LDV) plate is designed to minimize dead volume when using the Echo® liquid handling system. This microplate is constructed of Cyclic Olefin Copolymer (COC) for optimal acoustic transfer performance and DMSO storage. Each lot of microplates is tested and certified to meet stringent performance specifications. Additional benefits of the microplate include: compatibility with heat sealing devices, designed for barcode customization and optimized for robotic handling.

The 1536-Well Low Dead Volume (LDV) plate is designed to minimize dead volume when using the Echo® liquid handling system. This microplate is constructed of Cyclic Olefin Copolymer (COC) for optimal acoustic transfer performance and DMSO storage. Each lot of plates is tested and certified to meet stringent performance specifications. The enhanced design of the microplate reduces dead volume by 50%, increases working range by 12.5% and increases throughput by 15% when compared to other 1536-Well acoustically compatible microplates. Additional benefits of the 1536-Well LDV plate include: compatibility with heat sealing devices, designed for barcode customization and optimized for robotic handling.
