See You at the Basel Life MipTec Meeting!
Written by Labcyte on September 07, 2018
We’re getting ready for next week’s life science mega-event, Basel Life MipTec, held in Switzerland. Thousands of scientists will descend on the picturesque city to take part in the EMBO scientific meeting, Innovation Forums business meeting, MipTec exhibition hall, and European Job Fair, all held together at Congress Center Basel.
Two compelling keynotes are scheduled for the EMBO part of Basel Life MipTec. Nobel laureate May-Britt Moser from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology will describe her recent contributions in functional neurophysiology, and Jeff Engelman, VP and Global Head of Oncology of Novartis, will lecture on cancer-targeted drug discovery and current combinational strategies.
The Labcyte team will be a proud participant of the MipTec exhibition, which kicks off on 12 September. We’ll be showcasing our acoustic liquid handling technology in stand A49, where you can stop by for a demo of our latest instrument, the Echo® 655T Liquid Handler. This expands the Echo product family to enable non-contact dispensing of samples directly from a 96-tube rack. For many scientists, acoustic liquid handling is a faster, cheaper, and more reliable solution compared to traditional liquid handling robots. We’ll have several application notes on hand to help you determine whether acoustic liquid handling could be a good fit for your lab.
If you’ll be attending Basel Life MipTec, we hope you have a chance to visit the Labcyte stand. Looking forward to seeing you there!
