Functional Screening Assays for Personalized Cancer Care Using the Echo Liquid Handler

The Society for Functional Precision Medicine will be hosting its first annual meeting, the Functional Precision Medicine Summit on Saturday, March 30th in Atlanta, Georgia, preceding the American Association for Cancer Research’s (AACR) Annual Meeting, March 31st to April 3rd. The Functional Precision Medicine Summit is a single day event for those who are interested in the use of assay technology for biomarker discovery, targeted drug development, and personalized healthcare outcomes.
Key opinion leaders from institutions all over the world will discuss how functional testing can be harnessed as a precision medicine tool, including John Lesnick, Applications Manager for Labcyte. John will be presenting data showing how acoustic liquid handling enables higher-efficiency personalized medicine. The event is free for admission but requires registration due to limited seating capacity.
Following the Summit, Labcyte will be joining thousands of cancer researchers from around the world for the annual meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), also held in Atlanta, Georgia. The theme this year is about integrating cancer science for individualized patient care. We’re proud that acoustic liquid handling is driving research for functional screening assays by providing the accuracy and precision needed for these types of studies.
At the Labcyte booth, booth 2242, you’ll have a chance to speak with some of our collaborators who are using Echo Liquid Handlers to screen cancer specimens and determine the best course of drug treatment. SEngine and Notable Labs are pioneers in personalized medicine who are changing the prognosis of many different cancers. Both companies will be spotlighted in our booth and are happy to share their techniques in personalized cancer treatment decision making. We invite you to stop by to learn about how our unique technology is making a global impact on personalized medicine.
We’re excited to talk about the Echo Liquid Handler and how it is advancing personalized medicine at both the Functional Precision Medicine Summit and AACR 2019. We look forward to checking out all the amazing science presented, and we hope to see attendees at both events in Atlanta.
