We’re heading cross-country to the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS) conference in Washington, DC. This year, we are excited to feature the new Echo® 650 Series Liquid Handlers, which offer improved fluidics handling and better robotics integration. These systems provide an advanced solution to liquid handling and are the only systems designed for use with acoustic sample tubes.

Improvements to the Echo system include our newest laboratory automation offering, the Access™ Single Robot System (SRS), which we’ll be demonstrating at the show. The Access™ System is a high-throughput, high-capacity platform designed for sample management and drug discovery workflows. It is the only such instrument compatible with Echo® 650 Series Liquid Handlers and includes several environmental features such as temperature regulation and humidity controls for preserving sample quality during high-throughput drug screening.

At the meeting, there will be several opportunities to learn about how scientists are using Echo acoustic liquid handling. We will be hosting two tutorials to kick off the event. Join us on Monday, February 4, at 12:30 PM to learn about our fully acoustic sample management solution. Automation experts from AstraZeneca, Brooks Life Sciences, and Titian Software will also be on hand to discuss data and results from a brand-new system developed in collaboration with Labcyte. Lunch will be provided.

Our second tutorial takes place on Tuesday, February 5, at 12:30 PM, where you can learn from a Labcyte customer how acoustic liquid handling fits into the drug discovery workflow. Join us for lunch and hear from Christopher Groves, Sr. Manager at MedImmune, who will present first-hand experience of Echo® Liquid Handler performance and the reproducibility of cellular and molecular immunology workflows.

Also, Iain Russell, Ph.D., Sr. Product Manager at Labcyte, will lead an exhibitor spotlight on Wednesday, February 6, at 9:00 AM. He’ll be presenting on recent breakthroughs and the latest feature upgrades designed to boost efficiency in high-throughput screening workflows.

Don’t forget to RSVP for the tutorials (space is limited), and swing by booth 1127 at any time to learn more.

We look forward to seeing you at SLAS2019!
